Help! my Kindle Fire Says There’s Water in the Charging Port But It’s Dry… FIX
Have you gotten an error for water in your charging port for your Kindle only to find that you don’t have any issues? You haven’t dropped it in water, it hasn’t been wet or had any condensation, but still you can’t get it to charge because your Kindle keeps disabling the USB port. This is the fix. This is a known issue with Amazon and all they ever say is send the tablet back. So before you do try this!!!!!

Ok so I followed all your steps and everything but it still shows up that moisture is detected. Well one day I was eating and then I got a little sauce near my charging port but none of it got inside the charging port itself. But one thing I did was wipe it with a baby wipe and I think a little bit of the moisture got in there but the thing is I left my iPad in rice for like a few months and that still didn’t work so I don’t know what’s the issue with mine.

That stinks! I have a feeling the only answer for this is to replace it then. So sorry my friend!
